Frauke is a soprano who enjoys performing unusual and challenging repertoire. Areas of special interest include Early Music, late-Romantic and early 20th-Century art song, contemporary music, and historical dance.

She lectures in performance practice, music history, and counterpoint at the University of Aberdeen, where she directs the Early Music Ensembles.
